I literally squeed when I saw this little clip from a preview of the second (and last part) of HP 7. OMG, SNAPE...

According to some, it's Snape in front of Godric's Hollow right after Lily and James died (which wasn't in the book but makes sense and is possible) and some even think that Snape might even have went inside and took the piece of the famous photograph we Snape fans know all about then rather than doing so at Grimmauld Place (which I thought would be alluded to in the first part but meh...). And hurrah for the apparent decision to have Alan Rickman play Snape when he was younger too (this was what I most worried about...that they'd take some random young actor and shove him in instead for The Prince's Tale bit). All I just want is for the film to FINALLY give our beloved Potions Master his deserved attention after all this shilly-shalling about in the past seven films. Ah, his look of total disbelief and despair here...gah, can't wait for July to come along!

EDIT: Just read that Snape actually goes inside, sees James and then (most importantly) Lily's bodies, collapses onto the ground and takes Lily into his arms sobbing (*sighs*) while the year old Harry looks on. The photograph and letter which were so important in the book doesn't seem to make an appearance in the film which probably wouldn't translate well to film anyway. And yes, the 'Look at me' line is in it when Snape dies (in a way which is a little different from the book but still apparently rather graphic and gruesome) as well as the bit about the Patronus and the 'Always' line. Snape apparently doesn't call Lily a Mudblood in the flashbacks...which is rather odd but hmm, did the filmmakers want their friendship to be open to interpretation? Regardless, The Prince's Tale part is apparently about six to ten minutes long which is bloody fantastic. And it looks like it's generally agreed upon that Rickman steals the show acting-wise and that everyone who's seen the quasi-finished cut of the film thought The Prince's Tale was the best part (hurrah!). =) Oh, and they really do let Mrs Weasley say her epic line ('Not my daughter, you B***H!'...yeah, *that* one XDD) during the Battle of Hogwarts. This film is just going to be bloody epic...can't wait at all now although I feel rather pessimistic about the cinemas over here releasing it on 15th July (as it's *supposed* to be) since they delayed the premiere of the first part of DH to December instead of November... *crosses fingers that they don't*
