A sign that you're newly obsessed with something is when you start ranting about how horribly some people draw the characters...
Just saw this picture of a drawing done for the small adventure game adaptation of Agatha Christie's Peril at End House and let me just say that IT DOES NOT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE HASTINGS!

Yes, I confess that the striped blazer is in the TV adaptation and that the hairstyle is kind of like Hastings' one in the series but goodness me, Hastings/Hugh Fraser looks so much more good looking than this. Frankly, the drawing looks more like the fellow who played Eustace Beltane in The Affair at the Victory Ball who looks nothing like Hastings. And even the Poirot is an insult to the magnificent Poirot played by David Suchet, as you can see here.

Really, the drawings are so bad (esp. of Hastings) that they're laughable since the artist(s) totally got their features off.
What they SHOULD look like are of course like this:

What's even more horrifying is that these drawings managed to get into a published game for the masses...*sigh*
