Feb. 9th, 2011 03:46 amFurther proof of me being a complete Wellington nerd? Only to happy to oblige...see that painting behind Colin Firth's King George VI in this scene from The King's Speech? Instantly recognised it as none other than a portrait of Wellington in what appears to be his Field Marshal's uniform. Another interesting thing is that on the opposite end of the same room is a portrait of Nelson which doesn't surprise me at all.
