(no subject)

Down with the flu again. Hopefully this will be the last time in a long time as I was quite content to have had it back last September. Actually, it seemed to be a lot worse this time round. Had a tremendously high fever on Friday evening/Saturday morning which went up to 104.8 F (over 40 C) on the thermometer along with a terrible headache, a loss of appetite, dizziness, horrible muscle aches and a general feeling of crappiness overall.

My mum took me to see the doctor (I'm still astonished as to how on earth did I manage to get from Bonham Road to Causeway Bay without passing out along the way) and after getting some meds to lower the fever, was feeling a little better by Saturday evening though I must admit that I'm not feeling my usual self still but as I'm no longer getting fevers or coughing my lungs out (I seemed to be doing so on Friday evening), I'm guessing that the meds and Tamiflu in particular are working.

What a great way to welcome the Chinese New Year...ugh...
